Once again, Marketwatch offers some of the worst investing advice.
Apparently, a Marketwatch columnist, Vitaliy Katsenelson, believes that debt-hobbled college grads should use what little money they have to start gambling with individual stocks. This is another fine example of perpetuating the myth that anyone can beat the market. We hope these college grads are smart enough to seek out solid, academic investing information that would show them that beating the market is an impossible dream for most.
