Talking Real Money - Investing Talk

Most "fiduciary" advisors are probably liars.

Episode Summary

In this TRM "rantisode," Don gets angry with both fake fiduciary advisors and the CFP Board.

Episode Notes

Most financial advisors (a meaningless term) now claim to be "fiduciaries" acting in you best interests. However, since only 1% of advisors are always required as your fiduciary, are they telling you the whole truth? Probably not! Yet, they seem to be getting way with blatant duplicity (essentially lying). Many of these fiduciary liars are Certified Financial Planners® or CFPs® (they love their registered trademark) and are blatantly violating the CFP® Board's Code of Ethics.

Is you financial advisor a true, 100% fiduciary or a "very nice" prevaricator? You need to know.
